Naruto. I learned a new jutsu.
I was just a kid, but I knew I was destined to be the greatest ninja in the village.
I’d work hard and prove everyone wrong.
They all thought I was a loser, but I’d show them.
I’d become Hokage, the leader of the village, and they’d have to respect me then.
I ran through the woods, my heart pounding with excitement as I made my way to the training grounds.
I couldn’t wait to get started.
I had so much energy, and I needed to burn it off.
When I reached the clearing, I saw that Sasuke and Sakura were already there.
Sasuke was practicing his jutsu, his dark hair falling into his eyes as he moved.
Sakura was sitting on a rock, studying her medical scrolls.
She looked up when she saw me and waved.
"Hey, Naruto," she called.
"Hey, Naruto," she called.
I waved back, grinning from ear to ear.
"Guess what, guys!" I shouted, barely able to contain my excitement.
Sasuke paused mid-move, his eyes narrowing as he turned to face me.
"What is it now, dobe?" he asked, his voice dripping with skepticism.
"I've discovered a new jutsu!" I announced proudly, puffing out my chest.
Sakura's eyes widened with curiosity. "Really? What kind of jutsu?"
I smirked, feeling the anticipation build up inside me. "Just watch!"
Sasuke crossed his arms over his chest. "This better not be a waste of time."
Ignoring his comment, I focused all my energy. My hands moved rapidly, forming intricate seals. The air around me began to crackle with energy.
"Wind Style: Gale Palm!" I shouted as I unleashed the jutsu.
A powerful gust of wind erupted from my palms, surging forward like a tidal wave. Sasuke was caught off guard and stumbled back several steps. Sakura's scrolls were scattered into the air like leaves in a storm.
Sasuke's eyes widened in surprise as he regained his balance. "What the—"
Sakura gasped, her hands flying to her mouth. "Naruto, that was amazing!"
I grinned triumphantly, feeling a surge of pride. But before I could bask in their reactions any longer, my vision blurred and my legs gave out beneath me. I collapsed onto the ground, gasping for breath.
"Naruto!" Sakura cried out, rushing to my side.
Sasuke was there too, his expression unreadable. He knelt down and helped me sit up. "Not bad," he muttered under his breath. "Not bad at all."
I looked up at him, surprised by the rare look of respect in his eyes. "Thanks... Sasuke," I managed to say between breaths.
Before we could say anything more, a sudden rustling noise came from the edge of the clearing. We all turned our heads in unison.
"Who's there?" Sasuke demanded, his eyes narrowing as he stood up and took a defensive stance.
The bushes parted and a shadowy figure stepped out into the open. My heart skipped a beat as I recognized the unmistakable cloak and mask of an enemy ninja.
"Get ready," Sasuke said quietly, his voice tense with anticipation.
I struggled to get back on my feet, my body still weak from using the jutsu. Sakura helped me up, her face pale but determined.
The enemy ninja took another step forward, raising a hand in a menacing gesture. "You three are coming with me," he said in a cold, emotionless voice.
"Over my dead body," Sasuke growled, activating his Sharingan.
Without warning, the ninja lunged at us with blinding speed. Sasuke met him head-on while Sakura and I scrambled to prepare ourselves for the fight.
The clash of steel rang out as Sasuke's kunai met the enemy's blade. Sparks flew as they exchanged blows with lightning-fast precision.
"Sakura! Get ready to heal Naruto if things go south!" Sasuke shouted over his shoulder.
Sakura nodded and positioned herself behind me, her hands glowing with healing chakra. "Stay close to me," she whispered urgently.
I clenched my fists, trying to summon whatever strength I had left. "I'm not going down without a fight," I muttered through gritted teeth.
